Char’s Acadian Seafood Breading

Experience a  taste of the sea

Growing up in a fishing village, fresh fish was always available in my community, Fisherman would arrive at the wharfs in the wee hours of the morning with fresh fish from the sea. My mom would go and purchase the catch of the day every Friday, it could be either Haddock, Scallops, Halibut, Lobster, Crab or Clams.   When my mom would prepare a fish dish she would use a breading to coat the fish which would make a delicious fresh meal. Now you can experience a taste of the sea by using Char’s Acadian Seafood Breading. You can make a delicious Haddock dinner by dipping Haddock into a milk and egg wash and then rolling or shaking Char’s Acadian Seafood Breading on the fish, next pan frying to a light brown crust. When making deep fried clams, just place ½ cup of Char’s Acadian Seafood Breading place in a bag, next place fresh cleaned clams in bag, give a few shakes then place in deep fryer, fry until golden brown, mmmmm yummy. Another favorite dish is fresh pan fried scallops, dipped scallops in a milk and egg wash, then coat with Char’s Acadian Seafood Breading, next add a few tablespoons of olive oil and butter then pan fry until lightly brown.   Another great snack especially around football season, is to make you own breaded wings, Just pre-boiled a few pounds of wings, then make an egg and milk wash then coat the wings with Char’s Acadian Seafood Breading then deep fry and serve with your favorite dipping sauce it’s a snack everyone will enjoy.
